What it does
Create tax-compliant GST invoices for consultations, procedures, pharmacy and lab services, record payments against them, issue receipts, and track refunds and outstanding balances. Advanced invoicing, reconciliation and ledger exports come with the Advanced GST Invoicing module.
Who can use it
Billing Staff own the billing console. Receptionists can raise basic bills. Hospital Admins configure billing and review reports.
How to use it
Open Billing, select the patient and services, generate the invoice, and record each payment until the balance clears. Export receipts and day-wise collections for accounting.
Important rules
Every invoice change is audit-logged for compliance. Subscription bills to the hospital itself are GST-inclusive and server-priced — staff can never alter plan prices.
Common problems
Totals look wrong: check discounts, taxes and whether the advanced module is active. Missing receipt: confirm the payment was recorded, not just the invoice created.
