What it does
Order lab tests from consultations, track samples from collection to result, publish diagnostic reports to the patient record, and manage the lab workload from the staff console. Requires the Laboratory module.
Who can use it
Doctors order tests. Lab Staff collect samples, run tests and publish reports. Receptionists can register walk-in test requests.
How to use it
Create a test request against the patient visit, record sample collection, enter results, verify and publish. Published reports appear in the patient timeline and can be shared.
Important rules
Only verified results reach the patient record. Unpublished drafts stay inside the lab console.
Common problems
Module locked: Laboratory is not active on the subscription. Missing report: check whether the result is still awaiting verification.
