Subscription & Add-ons

What it does

Your subscription bundles a base plan, a billing cycle and optional add-on modules into one priced term with a stored pricing snapshot, so renewals bill exactly what was agreed.

Who can use it

Hospital Admins manage the subscription. Super Admins can assign and adjust subscriptions during assisted onboarding.

How to use it

Open Subscription to see status, validity, modules and billed amount. Renew before expiry to avoid interruption; upgrade or add modules at any time.

• Trial: Clinic-only, 30 days, one per tenant, expiry enforced server-side.
• Upgrade: takes effect with prorated server-side pricing; new limits apply immediately.
• Downgrade: always allowed and never deletes data — new additions stay blocked until usage fits.
• Renewal: extends the term from the current end date. Expiry suspends paid features until renewed.
• Cancellation: stops renewal; data is retained per policy.

Important rules

All entitlement checks are server-authoritative — the interface cannot grant what the subscription does not include. Past-due subscriptions keep a grace period; expired, suspended or cancelled ones restrict paid features.

Common problems

Upgrade pending: a payment or approval step is incomplete — check status and retry. Limit reached after downgrade: existing data is safe; reduce usage or upgrade.
